Description AD9516-x The clock generator evaluation board Analog Devices AD9516-x/PCBZ evaluation board is designed to evaluate AD9516-x devices. AD9516-x is an extremely low-noise PLL clock synthesizer with an integrated VCO, clock divider, and up to 14 outputs. The AD9516-x device has an automatic hold and flexible reference input circuit for achieving very smooth reference clock switching. The AD9516-x/PCBZ is a compact evaluation board that allows users to easily evaluate all features of the AD9516-x clock generator device. This board has simplified power connections and can use 6V wall mounted adapters and onboard low voltage drop regulators. It can easily bypass the low voltage drop regulator for power measurement. The AD9516-x/PCBZ comes with a USB connection to a PC and can be used with Microsoft Windows based evaluation software, which has a simple graphical user interface (GUI). Appropriate applications for the AD9516-x/PCBZ evaluation board include: \ - ADC timing and DAC up to 2.9 GHz \ - Network and communication line cards \ - Test and measurement equipment \ - Wireless base stations and controllers \ - Clock clearing and jitter attenuation \ - Clock allocation # # # Clock generator/buffer
