Description TS1101 The TS1101 bidirectional current sensing amplifier demonstration board offers four gain options: 25, 50, 100, and 200. These boards are fully assembled with the gain of your choice and have undergone comprehensive testing. This board is equipped with a 50 m Ω resistor. They have five dedicated test points: RS+, RS -, VDD, SIGN, and output voltage. These boards include decoupling capacitor pads located at the VBATT input pin and 47nF capacitors located at the VOUT output pin. This demonstration board can be set to induce bidirectional current. TS1101 has a wide input voltage range of 1.6 to 25 V and is packaged in a 6-pin SOT23. ###Due to Silicon Labs' acquisition of Touchstone Semiconductor, this series of products has duplicate part numbers (TS1101-25DB). Except for the brand, these boards are completely identical. ###The voltage output of a current sensing amplifier is proportional to the voltage drop of an extremely low value resistor, typically on a high current power supply rail. Therefore, the current of the power rail can be measured.
