Description Bourns 1800 Series signal and data line protection equipment Bourns 1800 series signal and data line protection equipment (SPD) has low peak clamping voltage even in severe current surges, and can repeatedly prevent high surge currents within rated limits. The 1800 series SPD can be easily installed and grounded on flat surfaces or DIN-1 (TS-32) or DIN-3 (TS-35) rail cable shields can pass through, and can be grounded or arc grounded. They have anti vibration screw clamp terminals and flame-retardant epoxy resin filled enclosures. Applications include: computers, data communication, instruments, broadcasting, and industrial control.
