Description TE Connectivity FASTIN-FASTON 250 Spear connector housing 250 series FASTIN-FASTON free hanging spear plug and socket connector housing, suitable for use with FASTIN-FASTON 6.35mm inserts and socket contacts. These 250 series FASTIN-FASTON spear connector housings provide reliable wire to wire connections and are an improved version of the traditional 250 series. These 250 series FASTIN-FASTON spear connectors have locking latches in each contact cavity of the housing. These locking latches securely fix and lock the contacts in place inside the cavity. This feature eliminates the need for locking plates on the contacts, thereby avoiding locking performance issues that are often caused by locking plates. The shell is polarized for accurate mating and also has locking tabs on the outside for secure connection to the mating connector. ###Features and advantages: The locking latch in the contact cavity ensures that the contacts are more secure, and the polarized housing prevents mismatches. The external locking latch ensures a secure mating connection with flame-retardant molded 6/6 nylon # # #. These FASTIN-FASTON connectors are multiple connector models for basic FASTON wiring terminal lines. They can quickly connect up to eight independent circuits simultaneously, with a maximum of 20 leads.
