Description PWR163 Series Surface Mount 25W Power Resistors PWR163 Series Surface Mount 25W Thick Film Power Resistors, with DPAK type packaging and very low inductance, make them particularly suitable for high-frequency applications such as amplifiers for audio or wireless base stations. These PWR163 series surface mounted power resistors have excellent pulse characteristics, can be used for current limiting or capacitor discharge devices, and comply with the automotive AEC-Q200 standard. The PWR163 resistor is electrically isolated from the backplane and compatible with lead-free soldering reflow temperature. Typical applications of these 25W power chip resistors include power supplies, motor drivers, testing and measurement, and rectifiers. ###Surface installation - molded power
