Description TE Connectivity MTA-156 IDC The MTA-156 IDC closed end connector socket assembly is pre installed with IDC contacts on the 3.96mm centerline, and can accept twisted loose wire sizes ranging from 18 to 26 AWG. These MTA-156 IDC closed end connectors are stacked end-to-end and feature a white nylon 6/6 UL94V-2 housing with molded ribs to prevent reverse mating and provide locking ramps and polarized inserts. The IDC socket contacts of these MTA-156 IDC closed end socket connectors are matte tin plated, except for stock number 863-8369, which has 0.00038 μ m gold-plated contacts.
