Description ISL8502A 2A Synchronous buck regulator with integrated MOSFET ISL8502A is a synchronous buck regulator with internal MOSFET and small 4x4mm QFN package. ISL8502A can support continuous loads of 2A and has a very wide input voltage range. ISL8502A can work independently or be used for master slave combination, for multiple outputs originating from the same input rail. Switching the PWM controller driver can drive two internal N-channel MOSFETs using a synchronous rectification buck voltage mode converter topology, with fast transient response. Integrated MOSFET with a maximum continuous output current of 2A, capable of achieving small regulator footprint adjustable switching frequency: 500kHz to 1.2MHz strict output voltage regulation, ± 1% overheating wide input voltage range: 5V ± 10% or 5.5V to 14V wide output voltage range: starting from 0.6V simple single circuit voltage mode PWM control design input voltage feedforward, can achieve constant modulator gain fast PWM converter transient response no loss rDS (ON) high side low side overcurrent protection undervoltage detection integrated thermal shutdown protection power supply good indication adjustable soft start, with pre bias output # # # switch voltage regulator, Intersil
