Description Sprint Electric DC Motor Controller - XLV Series XLV Series DC Servo Controller is designed for use with permanent magnet brush DC servo motors, with a rated power of 4 to 12 A, and is packaged in a compact and easy-to-use DIN rail mounting. The controller can be used for current (torque) or speed control modes. For highly dynamic applications, it is recommended to use shaft mounted DC speed sensors to measure speed feedback, but in less demanding applications, armature voltage feedback (AvF) can be used. The reference signal used for current and speed control can be bipolar (10V) or unipolar (0-10V). The motor speed can be controlled in both forward and reverse directions. Adjustable current limit and fast acting current control circuit protect the controller and motor from continuous overload. **XLV DC servo controller * * provides torque or speed control mode for 4, 8, and 12 A models, with a one second overload of up to 200%.
