Description Harting Han EX The Han Ex series connectors meet all the requirements for connection solutions in areas with explosion-proof requirements, including mining, chemical, and process automation industries. These connectors are designed to meet the intrinsic safety requirements of ignition protection levels and can therefore be used in explosion hazardous areas 1 and 2. The selected shell alloy can be used for atomizing methane coal ash gas. These EX series connectors provide IP65 protection level under mating conditions, with a blue indication indicating an intrinsic safety circuit. The contact plugs of the Han EX series connectors provide a large number of pins, meeting the standards of fire protection even in the narrowest spaces. The termination uses patented Han Quick locking technology, which saves time and is easy to assemble without the need for special tools. With reliable shockproof contact, it can provide maximum safety even in harsh applications and can connect cables with a cross-sectional area of 0.14 to 2.5mm2. Shock resistant and inherently safe, suitable for explosion-proof applications. The cover shell and plug-in are all in one kit. The powder coated die cast steel body is silver plated copper alloy, and the contact limit temperature is -20 to+40 ° C. Note that quick locking models 818-2891 and 818-2894 do not require additional crimping contacts as they form part of the Han Quick locking series.
