Description TE Connectivity MTA-156 Connector stress relief and socket cover TE Connectivity sliding cover series, protecting MTA sockets terminated. Part number X-643067-X is a dust cover used for MTA-156 IDC closed end connectors. Part number X-640551-X is a stress relief cover used for MTA-156 IDC closed end connectors. Part number X-640643-X is a dust cover used for MTA-156 IDC feedthrough connector. Part number X-643071-X is a stress relief cover used for MTA-156 IDC feedthrough connector. The dust cover is made of WITE UL94V-0 grade polyester and the stress relief cover is made of UL94V-2 grade nylon. The 3.96mm TE Connectivity MTA connector is used to achieve multiple internal printed circuit board connections at a pitch of 0.156in. (3.96mm), significantly reducing workload for almost all cable harnesses. Provide production tools that allow for quick assembly of connectors onto discrete wires. One step components and stackable terminal socket housings are color coded according to wire size. Pre installed contacts are easy to maintain.
