Description TE Connectivity Fiber optic MT VITA 66 backplane socket and modular plug kit Fiber optic MT VITA 66 fiber optic backplane socket kit (stock number 905-3343) and fiber optic MT VITA 66 fiber optic modular plug kit (stock number 905-3347) are used to provide high-density, blind optical interconnect in backplane/card configurations. Fiber optic (ribbon) cables are interconnected using standard grade multi-mode MT ferrules, which are fed into detachable system modules through the backplane. The fiber optic MT VITA 66 backplane socket kit has guide pins for blind connection, and the VITA 66.1 modular plug (daughter card) connector has slots on the housing for easy cleaning of the MT collar interface. These fiber optic MT VITA 66 connector kits can interconnect up to two MT ferrules, each accommodating up to 12 fiber paths. The fiber optic MT VITA 66 fiber optic backplane socket kit includes a housing, patch housing, alignment post, fixing plate, as well as tie screws and 2-56 screws. The fiber optic MT VITA 66 fiber optic modular plug kit includes a housing and fixing plate, as well as tie screws and 2-56 screws. MT multimode ring kit is provided separately. Inventory number 905-3356 is an MT multi-mode socket backplane sleeve kit, which includes one MT sleeve.
