Description NC-500 NETcat® Pro Wiring tester NETcat ® Pro2 is a digital tool that quickly and accurately checks cables, wires, and network services. Operating NETcat with backlit touch screen display ® Pro2 tests the continuity of cabling and can measure the length of cables, determine if network services are available, and recognize Power over Ethernet (PoE) services. The NC-510 accessory kit (RS 736-1848) includes seven (7) extended remote testing modules, NETcat ® Pro2 can be positioned from the center (8) at time.using fingertips or with a built-in touch screen for unique testing coaxial or twisted pair sockets. The screen can be used to control and display a range of tests, from troubleshooting to TDR length measurement. The display screen is set to recognize active network devices 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet (802.3) networks in English, Spanish, French, or German. Can recognize PoE (source device detection). Memo pad/device reminder function - stored in non-volatile memory. On site replaceable "F" type connectors. The graphical touch screen display has contrast adjustment and backlighting. Test shielded twisted pair (STP), unshielded twisted pair (UTP), and coaxial cables. Wiring cables and remote socket cables - map. Detect short circuits, open circuits, reverse, crossover, and separation lines. Remote inner diameter device is used for office identification. Diagnose and validate multiple networks.
