Description Molex MXP120™ The MXP120 series high-performance sealed wire to wire automotive connector is designed for use in harsh environments in the automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturing industries. These MXP120 automotive connectors feature space saving packaging, comply with USCAR specifications, and have a maximum power requirement of 13.0A. The MXP120 sealed automotive connector system features 1.20mm terminal blocks with a 4mm pitch, which can significantly save space compared to existing 1.5mm connection systems. The MXP120 connector system uses a single wire seal (SWS) and a robust outer ring seal to provide IP68 protection and withstand high-pressure spray environments. The MXP120 blade connector features a primary locking reinforcement (PLR) that provides secure terminal positioning, helping to detect only partially installed terminals. The 7mm (USCAR) clip slot is also integrated into the MXP120 plug connector design. Inventory numbers 918-2044 and 918-2063 have 11mm (MX150) clip slots. These MXP120 plug connectors can be used with various keying options to assist in accurate alignment and mating (for more information, please refer to the manufacturer's data sheet on our website). For suitable crimping terminal blocks, please use TE Connectivity 1.2 CB SWS blade terminal blocks. ###Features and advantages: Space saving design with 1.20mm terminal blocks and a single wire seal (SWS) pitch of 4.00mm, ensuring IP68 rating. Acceptable wire size: up to 1.00mm ², compatible with AK and USCAR interfaces, ensuring global acceptance and marketability. Main lock reinforcement (PLR) for terminal positioning and precise alignment of 7mm (USCAR) and 11mm (MX150) clamp slots. The compact and robust design of these MXP120 automotive connectors makes them particularly suitable for space constrained electronic and transmission system applications in the automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturing industry.
