Description TE Connectivity Duraseal Heat shrink compression connector. This series also offers uncoated crimping contacts for use with Superseal printed circuit board connectors (see stock number 680-2063). For suitable crimping, please refer to RS 680-2063, RS 680-2893, RS 680-5876 # # # Approved UL # # # Duraseal Heat Shrink Insulated Terminal Blocks and Kit # # Duraseal Heat Shrink TE Heat Shrink Pre Insulated Nylon Connectors and crimping terminals provide reliable connections, especially for applications where environmental sealing is critical. Including cable sizes ranging from 0.5mm to 6.0mm ², designed for applications that may encounter water or condensation, wear or mechanical abuse issues. To complete the connection, the cable connector is crimped using traditional methods, and then the sleeve is heated to shrink around the cable insulation layer. During the process of heating to seal the joint, a special adhesive flow rate is required. The TE Duraseal kit is particularly suitable for cars (certified by most car manufacturers) and shipbuilding where environmental sealing is crucial.
