Description Molex 0.50 mm Surface mount bottom contact FFC/FPC connector, 54132 series 0.50mm pitch surface mount right angle FFC/FPC connector, with bottom contact configuration, for use with Molex Premo Flex FFC cables. These 0.5mm surface mounted FFC/FPC connectors feature a slim and compact design to save extra space, with a matching height of only 2mm. The actuators are designed to be durable, pushing down and locking to secure the connection between the FFC/FPC and connector terminals. The zero insertion force (ZIF) contacts of these 0.5mm FFC/FPC connectors allow for the insertion of very thin cables and enable repeated cycling with minimal wear. The terminal block can also be moved to provide a more secure contact holding force. The pre fixed cable retention function enables accurate insertion of FPC. These 0.5mm FFC/FPC connectors also come with mounting pins that can secure the connector to a printed circuit board and serve as stress relief components for surface mount tail lines. The features and advantages of these 54132 series 0.5mm surface mount FPC connectors include a compact, thin, and space saving design with 2mm matching height durable sliding lock actuator ZIF contacts for easy to loosen FPC insertion and low wear movable terminal blocks, as well as pre fixed cable retention function mounting pins for secure connections to printed circuit boards. These 54132 series 0.5mm surface mount FPC connectors are particularly suitable for tight package applications.
