Description E5810B LAN/GPIB/USB Gateway E5810B is the next generation product of E5810A, which extends the functionality of the gateway and includes USB connectivity. It is a single connection solution that provides a gateway between a computer system equipped with a network (using LAN) and instruments based on GPIB/USB/RS-232. This uses a complete integrated solution to simplify input-output connections, aiming to meet the connectivity needs of all users. The E5810B can connect up to 14 GPIB instruments, four USB instruments (via a self powered hub), and one RS-232 instrument. Testing and product engineers, system integrators, R&D engineers, researchers, and scholars can acquire the ability to control various instrument interfaces through LAN, even remotely through wireless connections. Applications include manufacturing, fault diagnosis, design validation, and education. Remote access and control of GPIB, USB, and RS-232 instruments with fast GPIB transfer rates (up to 1.2MB/s) and USB ports (supporting up to 4 instruments). Supports 1000BASE-T (1 Gigabit)/100BASE-TX/10BASE-T LAN/Ethernet connection power switch for hard reset, enhanced LCD display protection through adapter power code protection, used for IP address; LED indicator lights are used for wireless communication to the instrument through a wireless router. The on-site upgradable firmware comes with a metal casing, power cord, adapter, printed quick start guide, Agilent Automation Ready CD (with Agilent IO library kit), Keysight USB Data Acquisition (DAQ), and Agilent USB Data Acquisition (DAQ) series provide options and flexibility for creating independent or modular solutions that can be expanded and improved according to testing requirements.
