Description RN-42 2 Bluetooth like module RN-42 Bluetooth module provides a reliable and low-cost method for creating a line serial communication interface between two devices (such as a microcontroller, PC, mobile phone or another module). This module can be paired with devices that support Bluetooth SPP (Serial Port Application Specification) to establish a serial interface. The RN-42 Bluetooth module performs well on the test circuit board and is compatible with all 5V and 3.3V microcontroller platforms. The module that fully complies with Bluetooth 2.1/2.0/1.2/1.1 provides compatibility with many devices, low power consumption, and is suitable for long-term battery powered projects. The automatic connection/discovery/pairing mode makes it very easy to connect to other modules. The LED indicator provides visual status voltage jumper selection for connection/mode, suitable for 5V and 3.3V microcontrollers. 2 x 7 double row plug-in sockets have a 0.1in spacing jumper. Optional default baud rate: 9600 or 115200 bps. Command configurable baud rate: 1200 to 92100 bps. Range: 35 to 50 feet. Aiming line. Indoor power requirements: 5V or 3.3V DC current consumption: 5mA.
