Description Avago HSMx-A43x The power PLCC-4 SMT LED with lens of the Avago technology series SMT LED is a high-performance light source, mainly targeting the automotive and electronic safety signs and signals (ESS) market. The top mounted single-chip package with focused emission provides high brightness in the direction of the beam, making it ideal for internal automotive, indoor and outdoor signage, and industrial applications. The other lenses in the HSMx-A43x series make it particularly suitable for applications in traffic lights, CHMSL, and video displays. Compared with the PLCC-2 package, the PLCC-4 package series can dissipate heat more effectively and increase driving current. Compared with traditional PLCC-2 SMT LEDs, it allows this series of LEDs to produce higher light output levels. PLCC-4 SMT LED with a 30 ° beam angle is particularly suitable for panels, buttons, or general backlighting in automotive interior and exterior signage, office and industrial equipment, and home applications. This packaging design is compatible with IR soldering reflow and wave soldering.
