Description Kopex The brass accessory series provides a method for matching thread shapes on equipment approved in hazardous areas, while ensuring integrity and maintaining Ex certification for installation. These line converters comply with the latest ATEX/IECEx standards and are marked on the product body for easy visibility after installation, which is a key part of the new standard. The amplifier (/E) is used where the thread size of the internal thread end of the equipment is larger than that of the external thread end. Shrinkage reducer (/R) is used where the thread size of the internal thread end of the equipment is smaller than that of the external thread end. Adapter (/TC) is used where conversion between thread types is required (such as metric to PG). ###Note that it is recommended not to use two adapters together (joined to each other). ###Recognize ATEX certification.
