Description TE Connectivity Duraseal Duraseal crimping ring terminal block, with environmentally sealed wire connections, provides insulation protection and prevents mechanical abuse, vibration, wire pulling, wear, as well as water resistance, salt resistance, and protection from other pollutants. These Duraseal sleeve crimping ring terminals are contained within heat shrinkable nylon tubing lined with hot melt adhesive, which is resistant to cutting and wear. Red 0.25-1.6 mm ² blue 1.0-2.6 mm ² yellow 2.7-6.6 mm ² # # # # UL approved # # # Duraseal heat shrink insulated terminal blocks and kits # # # Duraseal heat shrink TE heat shrink pre insulated nylon connectors and crimping terminals provide reliable connections, particularly suitable for applications where environmental sealing is critical. Including cable sizes ranging from 0.5mm to 6.0mm ², designed for applications that may encounter water or condensation, wear or mechanical abuse issues. To complete the connection, the cable connector is crimped using traditional methods, and then the sleeve is heated to shrink around the cable insulation layer. During the process of heating to seal the joint, a special adhesive flow rate is required. The TE Duraseal kit is particularly suitable for cars (certified by most car manufacturers) and shipbuilding where environmental sealing is crucial.
