Description Phoenix Contact SUBCON-PLUS PROFIBUS D-Sub The SUBCON-PLUS PROFIBUS 9-pin D-sub socket connector is designed for use in PROFIBUS systems up to 12 Mbps and can quickly connect input and output bus cables under field conditions. These SUBCON-PLUS PROFIBUS D-sub connectors feature integrated termination resistors (which can be activated externally through sliding switches), surge protection, and shielded ABS enclosures, all of which can be used with standard PROFIBUS cables (types A and B) with an outer diameter of 8mm. Inventory numbers 493-1964 and 493-1970 have 35 ° cable entry and internal connection devices (rotatable for inserting cables from the left or right) as well as screw connections.
