Description TE Connectivity 50 The series of circular cable SDL plug connectors SDL (shielded data link) connectors meet the industrial demand for affordable and high-quality shielded connectors. This connector provides EMI/RFI protection for a wide range of applications, from critical medical systems to point of sale devices, including computers, computer peripherals, video games, and process control equipment. These 50 series circular cable SDL IDC plug connectors are designed for use with circular shielded 7 standard cables, with IDC contacts preloaded on the 1.27mm centerline. The housing design of these SDL IDC plug connectors features locking latches, forward polarization, primary stress relief devices (for cable foil or shielding), and secondary stress relief devices (for main cable conductors). The top and bottom shielding shells and ferrules of these SDL IDC plug connectors must be purchased separately. Inventory number 717-4414 is a 4-way SDL plug for use with 24 AWG wires. Inventory number 820-8221 is a 4-way SDL plug for use with 28-26 AWG wires. Inventory number 820-8176 is an 8-way SDL plug for use with 24 AWG wires. The 4-way SDL plug uses a top cover (inventory number 717-4423), bottom cover (inventory number 717-4426), and sleeve (inventory number 717-4432)
