Description Molex LED Molex's LED array sockets are particularly suitable for OEM lighting manufacturers as they simplify the Cree LED installation process and reduce installation time by using compression contacts, eliminating the need for manual or surface mount soldering and expensive surface mount equipment. Molex's LED array mount utilizes unparalleled interconnect technology to provide a solderless solution for installing Cree LED arrays into OEM designs. These supports allow the Cree LED array to be quickly installed into fixtures and can be replaced on-site, facilitating upgrades to existing applications. Molex LED array holders are highly suitable for applications such as building lighting, area lighting, and recessed lighting. The compression contact of the power array can loosen the wire clamp for easy rework or replacement. It is recommended to use solid wires or pre tinned stranded wires to connect the LED array and bracket to the heat sink with screws. M3 or 4-40 screws can be used to provide voltage isolation between the LED and the heat sink, and stable connection in high ambient temperatures to provide dust and impact protection; Provides flexible design options particularly suitable for lamp and small fixture applications, including MR16 or trail lighting that can be repaired on-site.
