Description TE Connectivity CERTI-CRIMP II The CERTI-CRIMP II Advanced Straight Action Manual Tool (SAHT) is suitable for crimping various terminal blocks and contacts onto wires. The molds of these direct action manual crimping tools are closed in a straight line. These CERTI-CRIMP II advanced manual crimping tools are designed with high specifications of high-quality materials, providing high-quality, consistent termination and optimal electrical and mechanical performance. Advanced manual crimping tools require minimal operational skills and can provide high-quality crimping according to specific parameters. Each manual crimping tool includes crimping molds, positioning, and straightening functions, which can make the wiring terminals crimped by these tools meet the requirements of applicable TEC application (114-) rules. These CERTI CRIMP II crimping tools have contact locators, brackets, and wire shields. Inventory numbers 782-9741, 782-9120, 782-1122, 366-1816, 864-3715, and 864-3719 have flip locators that provide improved accuracy for locating small terminal blocks. The CERTI-CRIMP II crimping tool used for crimping insulated terminal blocks also has a 4-position insulation crimping height adjustment. The entire design of the CERTI-CRIMP II straight action crimping tool ensures that the mold bottom contact is not affected by operator skills, fatigue levels, or tool wear and tear. The crimping tool has CERTI-CRIMP teeth, which are factory set to lock until the handle is fully closed and the mold touches the bottom. This ratchet mechanism ensures that the tool only opens after reaching the complete crimping cycle, thereby preventing partial crimping. Set the handle of the crimping tool to the specified pressure to meet different crimping force requirements.
