Description TS1106 Bidirectional current sense amplifier, buffered unipolar output, with adjustable bias demonstration board for Silicon Labs TS1106 bidirectional current sense amplifier, with buffered unipolar output and adjustable bias. The TS1106 high side current sense amplifier uses 1.2 μ A (maximum) and a buffered output of 1.3 μ A (maximum). Two gain options are available: 20 V/V - TS1106-20 (RS 894-7095) and 200 V/V - TS1106-200 (RS 894-7092). These boards are fully assembled and tested. TS1106 has a wide input voltage range of 2 to 25 V and is packaged in an 8-pin TDFN. ###The voltage output of a current sensing amplifier is proportional to the voltage drop of an extremely low value resistor, typically on a high current power supply rail. Therefore, the current of the power rail can be measured.
