Description Texas Instruments This efficient buck/boost converter uses a single inductor for DC to DC conversion. Automatic transmission between voltage reduction and boost functions can be achieved, and voltage reduction/boost converters can be used in battery powered products using two or three alkaline batteries, nickel cadmium or nickel hydrogen batteries, or single lithium batteries. This makes it particularly suitable for use with mobile phones and similar handheld devices. ###DC/DC Switching Regulator Converter (Integrated Switch), Texas Instruments' highly integrated high-efficiency switching regulator series includes step-up (boost), step-down (buck), step-up/step-down (boost/buck), and inverter types, providing efficient solutions for every DC voltage stabilizer application.
