Description TOPSwitch-JX The Power Integrations TOPSwitch JX series provides a single packaging solution for affordable offline AC-DC converter designs. These devices integrate high-voltage power MOSFETs and switching current sources, multi-mode PWM controllers, oscillators, comprehensive protection and control circuits into compact single-chip packages. This series includes through-hole and SMT installation options, with a power rating of up to 177W. It is energy-efficient throughout the entire load range; The no-load power at 265 V AC is controlled by multi-mode PWM, which can maximize efficiency under all load conditions. The programmable current limit and frequency jitter reduce the cost of EMI filtering. The fully integrated soft start is used for minimum starting stress. During the overload fault of the rated power MOSFET at 725V, the automatic restart will limit the provided power to output overvoltage, overcurrent, and short circuit protection. Accurate thermal shutdown with long time lag.
