Description Modicon M580 - The Modicon M580 BMEP58xxxx processor series includes a complete control solution core based on Modicon M580 specific and compatible modules and racks. The BMEP58 processor is an independent, modular automation processor that can be installed on BMEXBPxxxx Ethernet+X bus rack and BMXXBPxxxx (PV02 or higher) X bus rack. It can manage Modicon X80 input/output platform models on single or multi rack Ethernet PAC stations, providing different technical features: \ - memory capacity \ - processing speed \ - number of inputs/outputs \ - number of supported local racks \ - embedded Ethernet port functionality physically occupying two module slots on the motherboard # # # Schneider Electric Modicon M580 Modicon M580 ePAC (programmable automation controller) has openness, flexibility, robustness, and sustainability. The M580 design adopts an Ethernet backbone, which can optimize connections and communication. They support X80 universal input/output modules and can be easily integrated into their architecture. Powerful processors can provide high-level computing for complex network communication, display, and control applications.
