Description RL31 The RL31 series backward reflective photoelectric sensor from Pepperl+Fuchs provides a compact sensor suitable for factory automation applications in industrial environments. The working principle of a backward reflection sensor is to emit a beam of light, which is then reflected by a partner reflector. The reflected light is then detected by a receiver device. When the light beam between the sensor and the reflector is blocked by an object, these sensors will be triggered. Backreflection sensors are used for component presence detection applications. The working voltage is DC, compact and stable.
