Description Hirose FunctionMAX FX30B 3.81 mm The board to board connector FunctionalMAX FX30B 3.81mm adopts a unique floating structure, which can absorb installation deviation errors in applications using multiple stacked connectors. The contact design is used to create a certain gap during the mating process, with a gap of+0.3 mm in the XY direction and 1 mm in the Z direction. Floating contacts are self centering in the X and Y directions and absorb deviation errors, ensuring safe and accurate mating. This floating feature can also eliminate stress caused by installation and placement errors, thereby preventing welding cracking and eliminating the need for calibration rework. The large mating guide device on either side of the FX30B socket can be securely connected to the ribs on the socket. These molded guide posts also allow for a calibrated movement of ± 1.3 mm in the XY direction, making it easier to fit and preventing incorrect insertion. These FX20 connectors have an additional six keys around the mating surface, which also helps prevent reverse insertion. These FX30B connectors have metal fasteners on either side that can be securely and firmly fixed to printed circuit boards. These metal fasteners can also resist deformation in the up, down, left, and right directions. The contacts of these FX30B connectors have a high current capacity of 13-17A (per pin). The FX20 socket connector includes gold-plated contacts and adopts a multi-point structure with four independent contacts, which can improve the reliability of the contacts.
