Description NT21 The serial port adapter RS232 to RS422 is used to convert one of the NT21 serial ports to RS422. This two-wire or four wire connection adapter can be directly plugged into the RS232 port. Equipped with screw terminal blocks, it can be used for RS422 connection. The onboard switch can be used to select between two or four wires, as well as to set up the physical termination of RS422 network. Up to 8 NT21 touch screens can be connected to an Omron PLC serial port using these adapters and NT Link 1: N protocol settings. The recommended cable for four wire connection is Belden 9729 (stock number 802-373). ### Omron
