Description NCV8871 The evaluation kit for asynchronous boost controllers, ON Semiconductor ON Semiconductor NCV8871 asynchronous boost controller series, is supported by three development kits and can be used in various applications. Each circuit board has an ON Semiconductor NCV887100D1R2G boost controller IC (RS 823-4144). This controller has adjustable output and can drive external N-channel MOSFETs. IC has multiple protection functions, including internal soft start, undervoltage lockout, cycle by cycle current control, startup pause mode short circuit protection, and thermal shutdown. ON Semiconductor NCV8871LVBGEVB (RS 117-6725) Adjustable Output Boost Controller Evaluation Board NCV8871LVB Evaluation Board Demonstration 10 W Start Stop Boost Application. This board provides 10.6V output and can achieve 1A output current through inputs as low as 5V. The startup pin can also be used to connect to a synchronous external clock power supply. ON Semiconductor NCV8871 SEPGEVB (RS 117-6726) Automotive SEPIC Controller Evaluation Board This evaluation board allows you to test high-frequency current mode control SEPIC converter designs. It has two inductors and does not require additional components. Synchronize frequency switching using an external clock. The output rated value is 12 V, 2 A, and the switching frequency within the input voltage range of 6 V to 18 V for automobiles is 170 kHz.
