WT Microelectronics Q1 Profit Soars 159% to NT$7B, Guides Record Q2

WT Microelectronics, a global semiconductor distribution leader, reported record Q1 2026 results. Revenue reached NT494.27billion∗∗,up∗∗44494.27billion∗∗,up∗∗447.009 billion, far exceeding the NT$6.49 billion forecast, up 67% QoQ and 159% YoY.

Chairman Cheng Wen-Tsung attributed growth to rising cloud capex driving data center and communications demand, with AI set to sustain long-term semiconductor demand. Non-AI inventory has normalized, and industrial and markets are steadily recovering.

For Q2, WT expects revenue of NT560–590billion∗∗(+13–19560–590billion∗∗(+13–197.628–8.572 billion, both new records. Net financial expenses will rise to NT$1.6–1.8 billion due to larger operations.

Data center and server demand remains strong with high double-digit sequential growth. Communications, industrial, and automotive markets are all improving.

Distributor peers also posted strong results: Arrow Electronics Q1 revenue 9.47B(+399.47B(+397.1B (+34% YoY).
