On March 20, Zhuhai Jieli Technology secured approval for its Beijing Stock Exchange listing, marking a long-awaited breakthrough after four IPO attempts over nine years.
The company plans to raise $94 million from the offering, with funds directed toward smart wireless audio, smart wearables, and AIoT edge computing chips—aiming to strengthen its product portfolio and technological edge.
Jieli is a well-known domestic fabless IC designer focused on system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. Its core products target Bluetooth audio/video, smart wearables, and IoT terminals. With a reputation for high integration and cost-effectiveness, the company holds a strong position in the consumer electronics chip market.
Between 2022 and 2024, Jieli shipped a cumulative 5.266 billion Bluetooth audio chips, surpassing the combined volume of five listed peers. Its products are used by major brands including Xiaomi, realme, Honor, and vivo.
Revenue in 2025 dipped to $388 million, down 10% year-over-year, with net profit at $82.5 million, reflecting a challenging environment marked by global trade headwinds, intensifying competition, and softer demand for entry-level Bluetooth headphone chips.
The company has turned a corner in 2026, with first-quarter revenue growing over 10% year-over-year. A shift toward mid-to-high-end Bluetooth headphone chips, alongside rising volumes in smart wearables and IoT, has put Jieli back on a growth trajectory.
Jieli has maintained heavy R&D investment, totaling $122 million over recent years, launching 2 to 4 new product series annually. The AC706N chip, introduced in 2025, integrates a 32-bit DSP and Bluetooth 6.0 dual-mode, delivering stable 100-meter communication and high-definition audio output.
