Chinese semiconductor company Sunsing Semiconductor has successfully closed its Series C funding round, raising approximately 269 million yuan (about $37 million). The round was led by strategic investors ShiYun Circuit and Shunke Juxin, with continued participation from existing shareholder HongSheng Capital. It aims to leverage economies of scale from the consumer electronics side while pursuing the higher-value automotive segment, where smart driving systems are increasing filter usage per vehicle from 3-5 to 20-30 units.
