ChipFancier has reached a significant milestone, announcing that cumulative shipments of its in-house developed KungFu series automotive-grade MCUs have surpassed 200 million units. This achievement highlights a major advance for domestic chips in core automotive components.

The company's journey began in 2015 with the establishment of its automotive chip division, built from the ground up to comply with international standards like AEC-Q100, IATF 16949, and ISO 26262. A key breakthrough came in 2017 with the successful verification of its first 8-bit automotive MCU, breaking foreign monopoly in this segment.

Mass production of the KF8A series 8-bit MCUs began in 2019, with shipments exceeding one million units that year, securing a foothold in systems like body control and lighting. The portfolio expanded in 2020 with the launch of the 32-bit KF32A151 MCU, creating a comprehensive product mix that propelled annual automotive chip shipments past the 10 million unit mark.

Since then, growth has accelerated rapidly. Shipments hit 100 million in March 2024 and reached 160 million by April 2025. Notably, shipments for chassis domain applications doubled from 5 million at the end of 2024 to over 10 million by April 2025.

Today, ChipFancier serves over 20 automotive brands, more than 200 vehicle models, and has partnered with over 800 clients, establishing itself as a key chip supplier in the automotive industry.
