NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced at the GTC conference in Washington that its next-generation Blackwell GPU has officially entered mass production in Arizona. This move shifts the manufacturing of its most advanced AI chips to the US, aligning with government initiatives for supply chain reshoring. The first wafers were successfully produced at a Phoenix facility in collaboration with TSMC.
Huang revealed robust demand, stating that six million Blackwell GPUs have been shipped over the past four quarters. He projected total sales for the Blackwell and upcoming Rubin architectures to reach $500 billion. Large hyperscalers are now deploying close to 1,000 NVL72 racks weekly, each containing 72,000 GPUs.

In a major strategic expansion, NVIDIA also announced a $1 billion investment in Nokia to jointly develop next-generation telecom infrastructure. The collaboration aims to integrate NVIDIA's Grace CPU, Blackwell GPU, and networking tech into Nokia's base stations, targeting the 5G/6G market.
ICgoodFind : NVIDIA's US production and telecom push underscore its strategic ambition, though its challenges in the Chinese market remain a significant factor.
