The voltage and current response thresholds for each output of the power system can be set separately, and selective monitoring of overload for each output can quickly determine the fault location. As needed, other modules of the modular system can be added without the need for high-altitude wiring, such as modules for buffering short circuit power failures. Comprehensive diagnostic and maintenance information can be provided through industrial Ethernet, which can be directly evaluated in SIMATIC S7 and visible in SIMATIC WinCC. The CNX8600 expansion module is part of the SITOP PSU8600 modular system and extends the basic devices related to selective monitoring outputs. Four integrated outputs, each with up to 5 A or 10 A and optional monitoring. Voltage and response thresholds can be set separately, and each output operation can be infinitely adjusted. The complete diagnostic information of the PSU8600 basic device can be activated and deactivated in a directional manner through the PSU8600 basic device, with PROFIenergy easy to connect and no high-altitude wiring.
