The double-sided microplate design is used for microprocessor applications, where compatibility, flexibility, high density, and shielding are the most important. Provide VCC rail and VCC bus, but not connected, so individual rails can be connected as needed. 64//96 DIN 41612 indirect edge connectors can be installed at any end. The 3U (100x160) and 6U (233.4x160) boards have electroplated through holes (PTH) as substitutes for the standard type. The additional advantage of these boards is that they are directly connected to the top with bottom pads through holes, so there is no need to install connection pins, etc. In addition, the integrity of the contacts is improved because the solder is formed around the component leads on both surfaces in addition to flowing through the holes. This helps establish a sturdy and reliable connection. This is very important in applications that may face high levels of vibration. Eurocard is made of epoxy glass material (blue) that complies with BS4584 Part 3 or Part 16, or SRBP (synthetic resin adhesive paper) material that complies with BS4584 Part 5. The thickness of the plug-in board is 1.6mm. The weight of copper is 305g/m2 (1oz/ft2). Pre drill 1.0mm (0.040 inch) diameter holes at a spacing of 2.54mm, and all cards can be used with indirect edge connectors that comply with DIN41612 (see connectors/terminals), except for the SRBP strip.
