Description:
Freudenberg Simmering rotary shaft seals are high-performance oil seals that provide excellent wear resistance and performance for various functions, including aerospace, trains, power transmission, automobiles, machine tools, liquid handling, production lines, energy, and power generation. Featuring an elastic shell made of NBR 902 nitrile rubber and a sealing lip with springs, they can be used for mineral and synthetic oils. Simmering radial seals provide significant improvements in sealing wear and heat and friction generation, reducing power loss, lowering operating costs, and extending service life, thereby reducing expensive downtime caused by seal maintenance. Suitable alternatives to R21 (and in some cases R4) seals (please refer to the manufacturer's data sheet) are widely used, including shafts, power tools, industrial transmissions, electric motors, and pumps.
