(CSOT) for 6.045 billion yuan (approximately $830 million) in cash. The acquisition target, Shenzhen CSOT, is the cornerstone of TCL CSOT's large-size display business. It operates two of the world's most advanced Gen-11 (G11) display panel production lines (t6 and t7). These lines are dedicated to manufacturing large-size TFT-LCD modules for televisions, monitors, and laptops, and are a key part of the global large-format LCD panel supply, consistently holding a leading global market share.

This move holds significant strategic importance in an increasingly competitive and consolidated global display industry. By acquiring the remaining minority stake, TCL Technology aims to achieve absolute control over its core production capacity, reduce potential interference, and enhance operational efficiency and decision-making flexibility. The high-quality capacity from CSOT is a primary driver of revenue and profit for TCL's display business, and this consolidation is expected to boost TCL Technology's profitability and solidify its leading position in the large-size LCD panel market.
