LHA7530 Series ADC: A Direct, High-Performance Replacement for the Discontinued CS5530

The classic 24-bit Σ-Δ ADC CS5530 series from Cirrus Logic is set for discontinuation in September 2026, creating an urgent supply chain gap. Suzhou-based LHwise Technology has introduced its LHA7530/7532/7534 high-precision ADC series as a powerful, compatible replacement.

The new series offers complete pin-to-pin and software compatibility with the CS5530/CS5532 family while delivering superior performance. Key advantages include:

  • Ultra-low noise as low as 9.5nV/Hz at 0.1Hz and 6nV/√Hz noise density, enabling precise capture of microvolt-level signals.

  • Higher resolution, with the LHA7532B reaching an effective resolution up to 25.7 bits, and excellent linearity with INL as low as ±1ppm/FSR.

  • Full industrial-grade resilience, operating from -40°C to +125°C with built-in 50/60Hz noise rejection.

The design allows for a seamless drop-in replacement, using the same 20-pin TSSOP package and system architecture, drastically reducing redesign costs and shortening migration time.

Importantly, the LHA7530 series is 100% domestically developed and manufactured in China, providing a stable, long-term supply independent of international trade policies. It has already gained adoption from major industrial clients like Inovance Technology.
