South Korean AI chip startup Rebellions has completed a new funding round of 350 billion won, attracting Silicon Valley venture firms Kindred Ventures and Top Tier Capital Partners as new investors. This marks Kindred Ventures' first investment in a Korean startup, following its prior backing of companies like Perplexity and Uber.

Notably, this funding comes shortly after Rebellions raised 340 billion won in September from global strategic investors including Arm, Samsung, and Pegatron.

The company's technological strength is reflected in its No. 2 global ranking in chip inference according to the October CB Insights Mosaic Score. Following this round, Rebellions plans to accelerate its expansion into the North American market, deepen collaborations with local clients and data center ecosystems, and recruit global talent to enhance team capabilities.

CFO Shin Seong-gyu stated that the company has established partnerships with investors from seven countries, laying a solid foundation for overseas expansion and advancing its breakthrough into the U.S. market.
