The company disclosed handling 73 Iran-related orders from 2019 to 2025, totaling just $12,005.35—representing a minimal portion of its overseas business. One 2023 transaction worth RMB 25,000 was shipped to Mohammadreza Dehghan, a sanctioned individual, though declared for medical equipment purposes.

Jiepei admitted to insufficient due diligence in identifying sanctioned entities and assessing potential misuse risks. The company stated it completely terminated all Iran-related business in August 2023 and has established a specialized team to address sanction repercussions, including covering potential total loss compensation.

ICgoodFind : This case demonstrates how even minor transactions can trigger significant sanctions exposure, emphasizing the critical need for robust compliance protocols in electronics manufacturing.
