Cellguard™ The Midtronics 48V Cellguard Tracking Battery Monitor (UBM-1048) is designed to monitor and test conductivity, voltage, and temperature in 48V battery backup system applications. In case of testing faults, the battery monitor can also be configured to send alarms through binary contacts. Cellguard tracking can be permanently installed on the battery rack along with the accompanying 48V battery cable harness. Using the included DB-9 cable, this monitor can communicate with Windows based computers running the accompanying MonitorClient application software. Standard spreadsheet applications can also be used to display collected data for continuous monitoring of batteries, which can improve system reliability and make maintenance more economical. Early failure of batteries can be identified, which may not have been detected until the first maintenance check. Using field validated conductive technology, reliable battery analysis is ensured. Simplified installation procedures and economical design allow for deployment throughout the system. It is designed to monitor fixed batteries in various applications, including telecommunications armored cables (OSP), wireless fire and safety alarm systems, broadband switches and control systems, and comes with 1 UBM-1048 battery monitor, 1 48V battery cable harness, 1 DB-9 cable, 1 MonitorClient software CD battery accessories
