Description:
Kestrel 5200 The optional Kestrel 5200 model for the pocket weather tracker includes the basic 0852HVG (914-0006) and Bluetooth link 0852LHVG (914-0009). Both models offer unique monitoring functions for evaporation rate (lb/ft ²/hr, kg/m ²/hr), airflow (CFM, m ³/hr, m ³/m, m ³/s, L/s), Delta T, relative air density (RAD), and air density (lb/ft ³, kg/m ³). These features make the 5200 an ideal instrument for agriculture, building structures, and building service debugging, operation, and maintenance. Farmers can use it for a variety of applications, from barn ventilation assessment to chemical spray (environmental conditions, correct nozzles, evaporation rate). Architectural engineers can input the temperature of the concrete mixture (probe or infrared thermometer) and then measure the pouring site conditions to make decisions about mixing or curing adjustment additives, thereby preventing high shrinkage cracking of the slab. Building service engineers can input the shape/size of the ducts and easily move 5200 within them to provide volumetric airflow data to assist in HVAC system debugging and performance balancing.
