WJ Furse Enhanced Surge Protectors for Power Distribution Systems - ESP-D/DS Series * * The D/DS series provides a series of further enhancements to the existing ESP series power protector series, suitable for specific systems, and is a supplement to the existing D1 series. The D/DS series has a low allowable voltage, combined with power test types 1, 2, and 3, in compliance with BS EN 61643 standard. It is designed for low current single-phase systems (up to 10A or 32A) to prevent transient overvoltage on the circuit and provide higher exposure levels, covering lightning protection zone (LPZ) 0-3. It also features visual indication of three-way protector status and advanced pre fault warning, as well as remote indication function to BMS through voltage free contacts. The D/DS series (DS model) is suitable for low current power applications, such as CCTV cameras, alarm panels, industrial battery chargers, and telemetry equipment. It combines type 1, 2, and 3 tested protectors (compliant with BS EN 61643 standard) with very low allowable voltage, industry-leading enhanced protection, and compact DIN shell three-way protectors that comply with BS EN 62305 standard with status indication function and advanced pre fault warning remote indication function (DS model).
