Introduction: Danfoss was founded by Mads Clausen in 1933, with its headquarters located in Norborg, Denmark. Danfoss produces products and provides services for food cooling, air conditioning, heating buildings, variable frequency drives, gas compressors, variable frequency drives, and powering mobile machinery. Nowadays, it is almost entirely owned by the Bitten and Mads Clausen Foundation. Danfoss joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2002, which consists of nine principles of social and environmental responsibility.
